Well I made it through my first year!  And everybody still tells me that I'm cute so I guess I'm doing something right.  In my first year I went to California, New York, Boston, Washington and even Sweden, which is really far away.  Everywhere I went, I met all kinds of people who know Mamma and Pappa.  Some of them have kids like me and I always like to hang out with them.

Here's a quick shot from my FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY!!  Mamma and Pappa invited lots of people over.  I got to see all of my cousins, and Mateo came over too.  I thought I might see Ethan and some of my other friends too, but unfortunately everybody was pooping like crazy just like I was last weekend.  The good news is that I got a bunch of books and stuffed animals to put in my room.  Grammy even gave me a PONY (mamma always calls it 'Hast').  Let's just say that I was somewhat ambivalent about it at first.  But now we get along great!

As it turns out, a couple days after my birthday party, everybody gave everybody presents AGAIN.  I'm not sure what that's all about but I'm not complaining.  Because now I have MORE books, and some blocks, and some little things that beep and make noises.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do in my second year, but I'll keep trying to top the first one.  One thing I will definitely be doing is riding on my new car that Aunt DiDi got me for my birthday.  Pappa put a string on the front of it and now either him or Mamma pulls me around our house, sometimes for HOURS.  I'm sure that they enjoy it just as much as I do.
